Hello! This is the first video I have made in around 4 or 5 years, I kept working on Regolith in my spare time and finally developed something cool enough to showcase. In this video I talk about the two main new algorithms I've implemented. One for splitting and one for the physics!

After a few more weeks, the player had been given a unique design, and I added in some rudimentary physics. The sprite still did not split in half which was the main thing I wanted to implement so I starred on that.

This week I actually released a binary for the people to download. The game was still only a few weeks into development, so the enemies and player had the same sprite. There was no collisions in this version yet.

The first 3 of these are being written years, after the videos were made so I am only going to give brief descriptions of what I was thinking at the time. The first devlogs followed a series of videos I made on falling sand simulations. Noita had come out a few months prior and I tried to take the simulation I had and implement the features they had to allow a player to move about the world.
